Was lucky enough to have this as my local for a year - and ended up semi-resident there. Another Shepherd Neame pub, but well run by the landlord+lady - with the beer kept in top condition. No guests, but the Shep Neame seasonal bitter is always on (the Late Red was nothing less than superb) - and served chilled to just the right temperature.
Food great - there's a bar menu (highly recommend the burgers) and restaurant with specials. Eating area is a good size, and you can book it out for functions. Small patio out the back. Friendly bar staff, small TV (no Sky), and a couple of sofas if you get in there at the right time. Also serve Asahi on tap. Only downside is the price (~£2.80/pint for bitter) - but if you don't mind paying a bit extra for well kept beer, it's well worth it.
